In a brief dry spell on what was otherwise a wet, cold and very dull December day I took the dog for a walk down the riverside walk in Rhayader. Highlight was a Kingfisher on the river adjacent to the rugby fields – not seen many locally since last winters cold weather. A male Bullfinch called from nearby blackthorns and a nice group of 25 Siskin flew overhead. It then started to tip down again so I went home!
A bit of winter colour
